We’re proud to support LOROS Hospice, a remarkable local charity providing free, compassionate care to people with terminal illnesses across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Each year, LOROS supports over 2,500 patients along with their families and carers, offering specialist medical care, counselling, and support both in the hospice and in people’s own homes. Their work ensures dignity, comfort and respect at the most difficult times, and relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to continue delivering these vital service
We’re proud to support Menphys, a fantastic local charity dedicated to supporting children and young people with disabilities, along with their families, across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. For over 50 years, Menphys has provided a wide range of specialist services, from family support and inclusive activity programmes to advice, wellbeing services and opportunities that help young people build confidence and independence. Their work is all about creating equal choices and opportunities, ensuring every child can be part of their community and live life to the fullest.
We’re proud to support Bright Hope, a local charity providing free, vital support to people across North West Leicestershire who are facing physical, mental or life-limiting challenges. Through a wide range of non-clinical services – including counselling, day care, support cafés and befriending – Bright Hope helps people improve their wellbeing, reduce isolation and regain a sense of purpose and connection within their community. Their work is entirely funded by donations, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to accessing the care and support people need at some of the most difficult times in their lives
A volunteer-led organisation, Leicestershire Search and Rescue plays a critical role in assisting the emergency services by searching for vulnerable missing persons. Their dedicated team provides life-saving expertise, ensuring the safety of our local communities.
We are a non-profit organisation that runs one event per year (GlastonBlaby Charity Music Festival) to raise as much money as possible for 4 selected charities. Each year, the trustees select different chairites. If you are a charity and wish to be considered, please contact us
